This is the first picture we ever saw of Leeland, it was taken yesterday afternoon. Since then the tube going into his lungs has been taken out! The doctor said that the hole in his lung has been healing itself very well and is no longer a concern. Chest x-rays are still being taken every four hours to monitor his lungs.

This morning we got to see, hold and feed Leeland for the first time! It was so amazing and words cannot describe how it felt!
Yesterday afternoon the doctors found a hole in his heart in between two valves; the hole was causing the heart murmur. And as of this morning the doctor says he expects the hole to heal itself! The bruising along his skull is also healing very well and is no longer a concern!
Thank you so much for your prayers- they have obviously moved mountains! We will continue keeping everyone up to date! We love you all and can’t wait for you to meet our son! God Bless!
